Lisa has received the following accreditations:

Defense Initiated Victim Outreach Specialist (DIVO)

Lisa is also a trained Defense Initiated Victim Outreach Specialist who serves as the communication bridge between the defense team and victims’ families in capital murder cases.

Enneagram Teacher and Facilitator

Lisa completed a 3 year apprenticeship with best-selling author and Enneagram Master Suzanne Stabile. She facilitates beginning and advanced Enneagram workshops for organizations, churches, and families.

Peacemaking Circles

Lisa is an accredited Circlekeeper who has performed thousands of Peacemaking Circles for schools, churches, and organizations for the purpose of dispute resolution, team building, decision making, and leadership development. She is responsible for creating more Circlekeepers in Texas than in any other state.

Congregational Assessment Response and Transformation Team (CARTT)

As a member of the Congregational Assessment Response and Transformation Team Advisory Board (CART), she assesses church conflict, conducts conflict resolution workshops, performs both interpersonal and church-wide mediations, and coaches pastors through challenging situations for The North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church.

In 2010 Lisa was the only mediator hired by British Petroleum after the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill to travel to Southern Louisiana to listen to the residents and train BP contractors. As a result of her efforts, communication techniques and rapport building responses became new methods for BP’s contractors to engage the victims in communities served.

Lisa currently resides in Dallas, Texas where she grew up. She and her husband Jim have two grown children and a grandson who is the light of her life. She believes we each have a call to ministry: The reconciliation of man to himself.
